Ensuring the safety and well-being of all our children through a safe, secure and healthy learning environment.
Children’s Academy is a facility that ensures the safety of children and its staff. We do so by providing the following safety measures.
Every parent wants the assurance that their child is safe no matter where they are. At Children’s Academy we offer WatchMeGrow, an additional service that allows parents to connect to their child’s classroom.
We pride ourselves in having a safe and secure environment that provides peace of mind to all of our families. There is an additional monthly cost for WatchMeGrow, this service is not included with tuition.
To get started, fill out the WatchMeGrow form in the registration packet and return it to the academy to begin the process.
For questions please contact the academy at 407-895-2050.
The health of your child is our main goal. Should your child not feel well at any time during the day, our on staff nurses are there to care for them. As well, all CALH staff are FirstAid and CPR certified, and trained in Fire Safety and Blood Borne Pathogens.
At Children’s Academy we believe that health is important to a child’s overall learning.
We serve nutritious, well-balanced vegetarian meals throughout the day. We serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. All meals and snacks are closely monitored by the Child Nutrition program guidelines. Children are supervised by staff during all meals and snack times to ensure safety.
We teach the importance of rest. Enough sleep and time to relax is essential to good health and well-being. Children take naps daily and are under constant supervision.
Keeping the body active is essential to overall health. Children participate and stay active through daily activities and equipment that allow them to practice and strengthen fine and gross motor skills.
